Location: Brisbane Australia Employment Type: Full-time Our Client: Our client is an emerging player in QLD BESS sector, aiming to serve utility scale projects with their presence and development in battery technology. Role Summary: The Senior Technical Sales Engineer will spearhead the technical design and deployment of commercial and utility-scale BESS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and comply with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Design and Implementation: Lead the technical design, specification, and deployment of BESS solutions. Collaborate with manufacturers and clients to ensure seamless integration of systems. Regulatory and Compliance: Oversee certification processes for BESS solutions, including residential battery systems for Clean Energy Council approval. Ensure all installations adhere to Australian safety and environmental standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government and private enterprises to deliver tailored solutions. Provide technical expertise during client meetings and project discussions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the GM and other team members to align technical and business objectives. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 8 years of experience in BESS design and implementation. Knowledge of Australian energy standards and certification processes. Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
