About your new Role This role works within the Audi Australia team to develop and provide long term sales planning outlooks to the business, maintain and be accountable for the annual sales plan, develop, execute and monitor retail sales campaigns to meet sales volume and model mix requirements, and manage the vehicle supply chain relationship to ensure that the vehicle production and arrivals meet the business requirement to match our annual sales goals. Your main responsibilities will include: Lead and be accountable for a robust and strategic analysis of the Australian premium automotive market for a long term Sales plan (LAP) Work with AUDI AG to understand changes to long term planning. With this knowledge, develop and hold account for the annual volume plans that maximise the volume and share potential of Audi Australia and align dealer targets to these plans Attend and represent Audi Australia with key reporting bodies such as Polk and FCAI. Ensure each attendance is prepared for and outcome reported back to the business Lead the team to develop and fulfil of factory ordering quotas from AUDI AG to dealers based on sales plans. Accountable to ensure dealer ordering aligns to factory quota Collaborate with the Product Planning Department to ensure that their product measures are aligned to sales plans Lead and manage the Retail Operations for the planning and execution of retail sales campaigns by addressing local market conditions, aged stock, customer demand and consumer trends Lead and direct Retail Operations team to understand and ensure that any vehicles ordered by Audi Australia will be desirable to dealers/customers and thereby aiding in reducing risk aged stock Working with AUDI AG and internal finance department, manage VKH, sales budgeting and tactical campaign planning. Accountability to ensure annual tactical budget is not exceeded Work closely with National Sales Manager regarding updates on monthly sales progress and realising the month end sales result. Ensure all Monthly sales reporting and related information is completed accurately and on time Ensure monthly dealer margin and bonus reporting is completed accurately and on time to enable dealers to be paid Responsible for the development and communication of key strategic messages to internal and external parties relating to role Review and issue sales bulletins to communicate campaign and other information to the Audi dealer network Develop and maintain a strong communications platform when dealers can quickly and easily understand all supply chain status changes and updates About you Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred Minimum 5-year's motor vehicle wholesale and/or retail experience at management level Strong logistics and supply management experience Previous working experience at an international level or with German/European HQs, experience with VW Group is highly desirable Detailed knowledge of the automotive industry Strong communication, presentation and relationship skills Our Benefits, Rewards and Recognition include: A culture of continuous learning, growth and development.
