About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Keilor Park . This role is pivotal in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing tailored freight and logistics solutions. Working closely with internal teams, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s market presence while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include: Identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the freight forwarding industry. Building and maintaining strong client relationships to understand and support their logistics needs. Working closely with internal teams to develop tailored freight and logistics solutions. Meeting and exceeding sales targets while contributing to overall business growth. Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue. Attending industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance business development efforts and maintain a strong market presence. About You: With a background in both sales and operations within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transport sectors, you bring a well-rounded approach to business development. Your operational expertise allows you to strengthen client relationships while also contributing to the wider team's success through shared industry knowledge and process improvements. Sales & Customer Engagement: Proven ability to build relationships and provide tailored logistics solutions. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sales is beneficial. Technical Skills: Experience with Cargowise EDI or similar systems is an advantage. Results-Oriented: Strong business development skills with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets. Communication & Adaptability: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
