The role The Sales Support and Pricing Analyst is responsible for the collection and analysis of sales data and market insights to drive effective pricing strategies. This role supports the Parts and Services Business Line by providing actionable insights and ensuring that pricing strategies are aligned with market conditions and business objectives. Additionally, this role assists with general sales process support, aligned to key strategic focus areas. The analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing sales efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining processes, improving data accuracy, and facilitating communication between sales and portfolio management teams. This position also involves continuous monitoring of pricing performance and making necessary adjustments to optimize profitability and market share. Areas of responsibility Collect and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities. Monitor market conditions and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning. Prepare detailed reports on market trends and sales performance. Conduct customer segmentation analysis to tailor pricing strategies to different customer groups. Utilise advanced analytics tools to forecast sales trends and identify potential risks and opportunities. Conduct pricing simulations and scenario analysis to forecast the impact of pricing changes. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences. Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input based on market and sales data. Your profile You are a highly skilled professional with demonstrated experience in the analysis of sales data, continuous improvement, with previous experience in customer relationship management within the Mining, Construction, or Engineering industries. Holding a formal university qualification, such as a Bachelor of Business Management, you possess strong business acumen and excel in developing professional documents and reports. Your excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail enable you to understand end-to-end business processes and identify areas of sales opportunity and scale. As a strong communicator and planner, you have a proven ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, driving results and enhancing customer satisfaction. Agencies need not apply.
