The club in the heart of Bondi Junction is one of Sydney's largest - set across two levels of 3500 sqm and offering two personal training studios, seven exercise class studios, a 25m indoor heated pool, the latest LifeFitness cardio equipment, luxurious changerooms with steam rooms and Dyson hairdryers, as well as an in-house nutritionist and massage treatment room. Our offices are located within the club and directly opposite Westfield Bondi Junction. There are over 250 classes to choose from per week with Pilates reformer and mat, Yoga, and Group Exercise including Spin, HIIT, Power, Aqua, Real Fitness Kickboxing and Floor Barre. Sales and Club Manager role opportunity: A rare opportunity has come up to join the dedicated and energetic team of managers and staff at Elixr as our motivated and confident Sales and Club Manager. Join our friendly, dynamic team and help us ensure an excellent club experience and lead a sales team of 3 to showcase Elixr facilities and memberships. Elixr is proud to partner with key brands like The Australian Ballet, Hamilton the Musical and Moulin Rouge! The Musical - as their official health club of choice in Sydney. Key responsibilities include: Supporting and working closely with the General Manager in key areas of club sales and strategic planning related to sales and retention of members. Responsibility for maintaining monthly net member retention targets. This involves managing and inspiring a team of 4 - managing 3 sales people to drive membership sales and managing 1 team member who retains members through contacting those with cancellation requests. Providing leadership, training and support to the sales team to ensure sales processes and an excellent in-club experience for prospective members. Recruitment, training and mentorship of team members. Also works closely with the Assistant Club Manager who is responsible for operations and front desk. These elements support the sales team to be able to provide an excellent in-club experience for those prospective members visiting and trialling the club. The person we seek must possess a CAN DO attitude, find no task too BIG and most importantly thrive on working under pressure and deadlines. This full-time role is 5 days per week and reports directly to the General Manager. The role must cover one Saturday shift every 3-4 weeks. The key performance objective of the role is to work closely with the General Manager across key club operation areas to ensure high levels of member retention and an excellent in-club experience. This includes the managing, recruiting, training and mentorship of sales personnel, and of course providing exceptional service to our valued members. Do you also possess the following? Must have minimum two years' sales experience. Must have led teams as a manager and demonstrate leadership, recruitment, training and administration experience. Excellent communication, administration process and written skills. Previous sales experience in a fast-paced service industry environment (health club, leisure or hospitality industries preferred). Multi-Tasker: Exceptional organisation and time management skills. Maturity and confidence in dealings with members and staff. Decisive and ability to 'think' on your feet.
