Contract Duration : Initial 3-Month Contract (with likely extension) Availability : Immediate We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Consultant / Automation Tester to join our dynamic team on an initial 3-month contract basis, based in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in Salesforce, Selenium, and Jira, along with a proven track record of delivering successful consulting projects. Key Responsibilities: Implement and execute automated test scripts using Selenium for Salesforce-based applications. Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring QA best practices are applied throughout the SDLC. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies that align with business objectives and client needs. Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software meets functional, performance, and security standards. Leverage Jira for tracking and managing defect logs, ensuring accurate reporting and prompt resolution of issues. Provide expert consulting on best practices for QA processes and automation strategies. Mentor and collaborate with internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards. Ensure comprehensive documentation of testing processes and results for stakeholders. Must-Have Skills and Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in QA, Automation Testing, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong expertise in Salesforce testing (Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, etc.). Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated functional and regression testing. Solid experience using Jira for project management, issue tracking, and defect management. Experience working as a consultant , providing advice on QA practices, automation strategies, and continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Very Nice to Have: Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automation tests into pipelines. Salesforce certifications and other automation testing certifications will be a plus.
