Job Description
An excellent opportunity now exists for a Finance Manager within an independent schools environment. The role will suit an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager who has experience within a school or education setting and who understands the requirements around school-based reporting. Your varied responsibilities will include: Maintenance and control of school financial operations Preparation of annual budgets Monitor and manage cash flow. Preparation of statutory returns including BAS, FBT Payroll and superannuation management Liaison with auditors Assist in long-term business planning Preparation of grant applications Management of one direct report Minimum Requirements: To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you will be degree qualified in Accounting or Business. CA/CPA qualifications are desirable but not essential as long as you can offer significant experience in school-based accounting.
