School Finance Officer1.0 FTE 38 hours per week Limited Tenure: Parental Leave 28 April 2025 – 27 February 2026 St Therese’s Catholic SchoolMoonahThe school is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at St Therese’s Catholic School in Moonah.Responsibilities: Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures) Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment Commitment to personal and team effectiveness Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
