Job Title: School Officer (X 2 Positions) Location: School of Science, Joondalup Campus Salary: $74,435 to $79,279 pa (HEW 4), pro-rata Positions Available: 1x ongoing, full-time 1x fixed term, part-time (0.5 FTE), until 19 December 2025 Overview The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degrees in a wide range of disciplines including Computing, Security, Cyber Security, Biological Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The Roles: The school is looking for 2 energetic and enthusiastic people to join its operations team. The roles will be primarily responsible for supporting, but not restricted to, the following: School Officer (Staff Support) – Full Time, Ongoing: Supporting the School with contract and payroll administration, providing coordination and assistance to the School Executive, organizing School and Discipline meetings and events, and providing administrative support to School Committees. School Officer (Various) – Part Time 0.5 FTE, Fixed Term: This role will provide support across staff, research, finance, and teaching and learning, covering other School Officer’s planned leave. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain administrative systems and procedures. Demonstrated high level organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes. Interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop good relationships and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage. Benefits & Remuneration: These positions attract remuneration of $74,435 to $79,279 pa pro-rata plus 17% superannuation.
