Our school is a co-educational Prep to Year 6 primary school established in the tradition of St Mary of the Cross Mackillop, with a current enrolment of 508 students. We are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our Prep classrooms. Duties include: general classroom support, preparation of resources, and clearing learning materials; using technology to support learning activities and administrative duties such as photocopying and filing. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum of a Cert 3 in Educational Support; proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
