Focus on delivering customer-focused initiatives enabling critical engagement Lead a dynamic and community focused team in this newly created role Attractive remuneration package including either leaseback vehicle or vehicle allowance About the role The role of Section Manager Community Development is responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver customer-focused programs and coordinate the engagement of stakeholders and customers for water and sewage services. Reporting to the Unit Manager Business Strategy and Performance, this role will see you play a key role in connecting and supporting various Units within the Water and Sewer directorate to ensure the review, development and delivery of programs, forming part of the foundations for Council's ongoing pricing proposals. You will oversee and provide guidance to a relatively new and ever-growing team of professionals to prioritise and enhance customer experience, manage customer billing, deliver strategic and operational educational-based programs, and engage with the community on current and future planning for the Water and Sewer business. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: A degree qualification in Business, Finance, Education or related field OR demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development. Extensive experience in leading complex projects including management of internal and external resources, budgets, budget and risk management and financial forecasting. Extensive experience in customer management including engagement, billing, complaints and critical customer management. Extensive experience in the ability to develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders in a complex political environment. Proven success as a leader with the ability to grow and develop teams and focused on quality outcomes and a customer focus. The salary range for this position ranges from $170k inclusive of 11.5% superannuation. We have a permanent full-time role available. We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role. This role is located at the Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong. A leaseback vehicle is provided in this role for official duties and private use and your choice of vehicle will be provided within the range of vehicles available. A vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week may be paid if a vehicle is not available immediately for your use and will be paid until the vehicle is available. Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies. What to know more?
