Security Engineer – McAfee/Trellix AWL and Platform Management Position Name: Security Engineer – McAfee/Trellix AWL and Platform Management Role Brief: A specialized security engineering role focused on managing Application Whitelisting (AWL) and platform management for McAfee/Trellix solutions, including ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Endpoint Security (ENS), ensuring robust security configurations and compliance in large-scale environments. Primary Skills: McAfee/Trellix Application Control (AWL) ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) administration Endpoint Security (ENS) management Security compliance and reporting Incident response and threat hunting PowerShell/Python scripting Security frameworks knowledge Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented Security Engineer for Application Whitelisting (AWL) and platform management focusing on McAfee/Trellix solutions, including ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Endpoint Security (ENS) with an emphasis on robust application whitelisting policies and endpoint security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Application Whitelisting (AWL): Design, implement, and maintain McAfee/Trellix Application Control policies Build and manage comprehensive application whitelists and trust models Conduct application inventory assessments Monitor application execution and activity logs Create workflows for new application whitelisting Conduct periodic policy reviews Platform Management (ePolicy Orchestrator - ePO): Administer and maintain the ePolicy Orchestrator platform Manage ePO server upgrades, patches, and hotfixes Configure and deploy policies and client tasks Create and manage custom dashboards and reports Automate workflows using ePO server APIs Qualifications: Required Skills & Experience: Strong expertise in McAfee/Trellix Application Control Proficiency in administering ePO server environments Solid understanding of endpoint hardening techniques Familiarity with various operating systems Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field Preferred certifications: McAfee Certified Product Specialist, CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM (plus) Preferred Skills: Experience with API integrations Knowledge of vulnerability management tools Familiarity with security frameworks Experience with SIEM tool integration Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
