They have a close-knit team with very low staff turnover, so this role is suited to a candidate who has long-term career progression and stability in mind. The role is client facing. You will be a pro-active individual, who is seeking to broaden your skills, gain experience and is motivated to assist clients by understanding their situation and deliver a customised service. Ideal Candidate Attributes: Be degree qualified in accounting Be either CPA/CA qualified or working towards these qualifications Have at least 4 plus years’ experience in a public practice in Australia as a Senior Accountant Possess excellent writing and communication skills in English Be a professional that takes pride in their work, takes accountability and manages “red flags” accordingly Ability to work with minimal supervision with a proven ability to manage your own workflows and lodgments Be a fast-learner who can work on a variety of accounting software systems including (Xero and BGL software) Job Responsibilities: Preparation of IAS/BAS returns Preparation of income tax returns and financial accounts for HNW clients, companies, trusts, Self-managed superannuation funds and sole-traders Liaising with third party stakeholders and agencies such as ATO and ASIC Providing assistance in researching a range of taxation matters such as income tax, capital gains tax, GST, international tax and state-based taxes Salary range of ($90,000 to $120,000) will be offered based upon skills and experience. The role is office based. On street site parking is available and close to public transport.
