Senior Accounts Payable Assistant Application Deadline: 7 March 2025 Department: Accounts Payable Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Lockington, Derbyshire Description As a key member of the Accounts Payable department, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Master Data records, to ultimately ensure we provide the best possible service to our internal and external stakeholders, and to protect the Business against potential fraudulent attempts and activity. Key Responsibilities To ensure Master Data records are managed and kept up to date, for all business units. To ensure all new suppliers are set up within the agreed SLA time, with checks and verifications completed, respectively. Setting up New suppliers and updating existing supplier Master data, ensuring all checks and verifications are completed to an Audit standard. Keep all Master Data cleansed, consistent and relevant. Master data analysis for project-based work. Build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Assist the team in meeting KPIs and SLAs. Any ad-hoc duties or tasks as requested by your line manager. Strengths you'll bring Knowledge of the full P2P process and familiarity with three-way matching within an Accounts Payable department, or similar. Good team player. Skills relating to the job can be learned; teamwork is something we want from day 1. A can-do attitude. With over 320 operating sites and a Group Revenue of £1.5bn, we work in a fast-paced environment; you will need to adapt quickly and embrace change. Ability to communicate with impact and empathy. Within this role, you would be working with various departments. You will be required to problem solve in a variety of different ways, meaning you need to have a keen eye for detail to ensure information and queries are resolved appropriately.
