About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Senior Accounts Receivable Officer (Billing Specialist) to join our Head Office team located in the Sydney CBD. You will report to the Finance Manager and support the finance function by performing a range of financial administration duties, including transactional processing and effective management of the revenue collection, billing, and receipting functions. You have one direct report, so this role is an opportunity for individuals ready to step up and take on responsibilities for staff management. About the Role Process new client admissions and discharges & establish correct billing protocols. Process monthly government funding reconciliations. Initiate scheduled client account debit transactions. Assist clients with fee queries, annual rental changes, and payment arrangements. Process RAD/Bond and Rental receipts and refunds. About You At least 1-2 years working in AR and/or billings (healthcare/aged care environment desirable). Able to maintain good working relationships with employees, external stakeholders, and organisations. Able to self-manage and determine priorities and plan. Attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997) and legislation as it relates to fees and billing. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
