The Senior Ad Tech Specialist is a critical role within Qantas's Digital Advertising team, acting as the expert on our advertising technology stack and its integration within the wider digital ecosystem. You will be supporting the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of our Ad Tech platforms, ensuring seamless data flow, accurate performance measurement, and optimal platform performance. Part of this role includes troubleshooting technical issues, assisting in assessing emerging technologies, and developing streamlined workflows to maximise efficiency and effectiveness, as well as maintaining relationships with Ad Tech suppliers. There is a key responsibility for driving growth, commercial performance, and incremental revenue for the Qantas Group. To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of the Ad Tech landscape, a passion for innovation, and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to leverage technology for Qantas's marketing success. You’ll have: 4+ years of experience in Advertising Technology, Operations and Data driven marketing Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and other ad tech platforms Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau). Proven experience in the understanding and use of technologies associated with targeted digital advertising and programmatic landscape, DSPs, online measurement, dynamic creative, ad operations and delivery Experience with programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk) Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS) Experience working with data clean rooms, measurement providers Strong experience across full Google Stack: CM360, Google Tag Manager, DV360, SA360, Google Ads, GA4 Implementational and functional knowledge of digital media buying and ad serving and brand safety technology, demand side platforms and data Management platforms Prior experience in LiveRamp, Tableau, Monday.com, The Trade Desk, Supermetrics Ability to rapidly learn and adjust to new concepts, technologies and capabilities Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices Must have exceptional communication, organisation, and time management experience Excellent people skills, ability to work with diverse personality types and influence key stakeholders Confident presenting insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders in an easy-to-digest format Deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem and media landscape in Australia, keeping up to date with industry changes Why Qantas?
