The opportunity: The Senior Administrative Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office while providing comprehensive support to the resort General Manager and leadership team. This role requires a proactive, organised and detail-orientated individual with excellent communication skills who will act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Being based at a popular tourist destination, the daily tasks of this role change depending on current events and the season, meaning the Senior Administration Officer needs to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility to juggle multiple tasks. This position serves as the backbone of the office, ensuring that all processes, interactions and work is executed to the highest standard.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Administration Officer who understands the importance of professionalism and confidentiality required for this role.Key accountabilities & responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the resort’s office, managing office supplies and equipment, and maintaining office policies and procedures. Coordinate internal and external communications, including responding to emails, internal and external feedback, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence with stakeholders. Provide analysis and review on ARV documents. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items, ensuring that all stakeholders are appropriately informed of decisions and actions for both internal and external meetings. Assist the General Manager to prepare draft reports, briefings, board papers and memos. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all office expenses and budgeting. Establish, implement & monitor structures & processes to effectively manage storage & access to electronic & paper based organisational records. Qualifications, experience & skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior administrative support role, preferably in the Tourism industry. Demonstrated experience managing a team of administrative staff. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Salary Range: $66,063 – $72,985 + superannuationNeed more details?
