Senior Advisor Procurement Employment Type: Ongoing Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 9/10 Remuneration: $125,693 - $138,510; plus Superannuation and Leave Loading Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available Applications Close: Friday, 28 February 2025 at 9:59am Your day as a Senior Advisor Procurement Provides expert technical procurement advice on policies, procedures, systems and standards to key stakeholders undertaking procurement planning, sourcing and contract management activities, to enable them to meet business needs and government directions. Partners with stakeholders to manage the end-to-end sourcing and contract management process to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes and government directions. You will be joining our Procurement Reform and Banking Group and will be working within the Procurement Operations and Management Division. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You are a well-respected and customer-centric procurement professional. Highly collaborative, flexible, responsive, and supportive to consistently meet and exceed stakeholder expectations in a timely fashion. Provide dependable and consistent advice to all stakeholders on the most appropriate methods of undertaking procurement activities and ensure compliance to the NSW Government Procurement Framework, Procurement Board Directions and policies and statutory requirements. You will be often dealing with Senior officers and therefore be cognisant of events affecting the Government and identify potential issues and risks to optimise outcomes readily. Always perform with the highest standards of probity, public scrutiny, and governance. You are a highly effective communicator and active listener who can readily identify risks and navigate stakeholder requirements. You will be an adviser and mentor to more junior team members.
