About the opportunity The Financial Planning & Reporting team are seeking a Senior Analyst – Planning & Reporting to join their team on a two-year contract. This is an exciting new role that has been created to assist in the transition to retirement and to play a key part in the capability uplift of the FP&A function through implementation of new capability and automation of reporting. This is your opportunity to join a future-focused Finance Services department that is more than just number crunching and focused on delivering impactful insight and extraordinary organisational performance. Key responsibilities include: Lead the automation of owner reporting processes for budgeting & forecasting using Workday to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of reports. Drive the automation and enhancement of Board-level reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across monthly and budget submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, provide insights, and develop narratives for Board reports. Support the consolidated end-of-month (EOM) processes, including management of consolidated overheads, automation of consolidated management and regulatory reporting and analysis and insights of results. End-to-end financial management of the People & Culture (P&C) department, to deliver on accurate, timely and insightful reporting of financial performance and provide commentary and insights into variances to budgets and forecasts. Offer insights into budget performance, trends, and variances to assist P&C leadership in decision-making. Manage and coordinate the capital and operating budgets and forecasts across departments, portfolios and projects. Partner with Business Relationship Management to ensure robust and value-add processes of budgeting, forecasting and reporting across portfolios and business units. Play a pivotal role in ensuring reporting is fit-for-purpose (Power BI), processes used to deliver objectives are efficient and effective, and the implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting tool is seamless. About you You are a motivated and enthusiastic individual that enjoys working in a high performing team and is constantly looking for progress and improvements. Your strong communication and collaborative business partnering skills will see you succeed in this role focused on stakeholder engagement. CA/CPA qualification. You have demonstrated experience in a senior financial reporting role in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector (i.e. asset intensive and/or regulated).
