About the Role As a Senior Analyst, you'll be instrumental in driving the effective management of service provider risks. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced leaders and contribute to a cohesive risk management strategy that supports business outcomes. You’ll contribute to shaping an uplifted approach to managing risk as part of key initiatives such as the CPS 230 project. Sitting within the first-line Risk and Compliance team, you’ll play a crucial role within a team focused on delivering effective strategies to ensure that risks are identified, understood, and managed across the organisation. What You'll Be Doing Risk Assessment & Reporting: Perform detailed risk assessments on service providers, conduct due diligence, and deliver insightful reports to help strengthen risk profiles. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work cross-functionally to provide compliance support, handle incident reporting, and ensure meaningful risk-based insights are communicated effectively. Building Policies & Procedures: Assist in developing frameworks and processes that ensure a consistent and proactive approach to service provider risk. Partnering on Framework Development: Contribute to the implementation of an enhanced risk management framework, linked to industry standards such as the CPS 230 project. Learning & Supporting: Support the team by taking ownership of tasks, assisting in meetings, and contributing to process improvements and stakeholder collaborations. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll bring a confident understanding of operational risk, along with strong communication and organisational skills. Experience in financial or professional services will be highly valued, but a willingness to learn and adapt is equally important. Solid experience in operational risk, gained within industries such as superannuation, investment management, banking, or insurance. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, ensuring projects and reviews progress smoothly. Strong stakeholder management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities to deliver professional, high-standard reports. A proactive and professional attitude, with the ability to take feedback constructively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with relevant regulations across sectors is advantageous but not essential. Why Join Us?
