This Account Executive role encompasses a mix of: Account management Consulting Insurance policy administration General administration A Strong candidate will preferably be tertiary qualified; with: At least 5 years' insurance experience with Insurance Broking preferred Solid understanding of general insurance lines Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Confident with excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills Excellent at building rapport and developing relationships with both clients and underwriters Highly motivated with the ability to manage your own workload independently and also to be able to work within a team Motivation to continuously learn, develop, and take on new challenges in a dynamic industry Flexibility to adapt to new areas within insurance, whether you have experience in one area or are eager to expand your skill set Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Applicants will be considered where they can illustrate success in the following areas: Client management roles where you have engaged with clients directly in a face-to-face consultative environment Identifying selling opportunities Working towards targets The ability to read and understand standard business contracts Managing multiple clients and industry stakeholders How do your skills match this job?
