In this role, you'll: Working as part of a brand-new team that is establishing a Bus Regulatory Transformation Program, the Senior Bus Project Officer will liaise and coordinate with internal branches across SPER (Safety, Policy, Environment and Regulation) to ensure alignment of delivery of bus transformation initiatives that will enhance safety across NSW.Led by the Regulatory Transformation branch, this exciting role will see you support the delivery of a range of recommendations assigned as a result of the Bus Taskforce by monitoring and evaluating project implementation, including tracking risks, project impact, and quality measures, to help identify issues and assess progress toward achieving project outcomes.By collaborating with colleagues across SPER (Safety, Policy, Environment and Policy) Transport, and the industry, the program will rethink current ways of working, shape policy and regulation, and drive meaningful safety improvements.This is a unique opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of stakeholders across SPER and the Coordinator General Division and be a part of a program of works that supports large scale regulatory transformation.Please note that this is a temporary fixed term role up until 17/02/2027. About you Your experience in delivering project support services within a regulatory/governance environment see you succeed in this role. You will be experienced achieving project deadlines whilst coordinating and delivering multiple complex projects.You enjoy strategic problem solving and supporting successful project delivery. You’re recognised as someone who is an excellent communicator and leverages stakeholder management to drive outcomes.You have experience providing a wide range of project support services including preparation of discussion papers, briefs, and submissions, to contribute to the development and delivery of bus regulatory initiatives.If you enjoy being involved in business transformation initiatives, you’re motivated by being able to problem solve and come to solutions in collaboration with colleagues, and energised by more strategic work and adopting a whole of division / whole of Transport perspective, we’d love to see your expression of interest for this opportunity.
