This role is to provide business analysis capabilities within the UNITE Archiving initiative. UNITE is a business-led, technology-enabled simplification program that is about making our processes, systems and technology simpler to improve service to customers, grow our business, make Westpac a better place to work for our people and reduce risk. As part of this simplification agenda a number of applications will be merged or decommissioned, and it will be necessary to ensure that all records that these systems host are managed as per the Group’s Record Management policy. To support this a consistent and well-managed archiving process and solution is required, encompassing the people, process and tools for an Enterprise Archiving Solution that will be used by UNITE initiatives, other Records Management initiatives, and other suitable consumers in the future. The focus for this role is to develop the patterns and requirements for the Archiving Solution, including the high-level design and delivery for the Archiving solution and associated operating model, as an input to the Business Case to implement the capability. Your key responsibilities include: Liaise with the UNITE initiatives to uncover and document their Archiving requirements, as part of their Records Management obligations and to enable decommissioning of the source systems. Foster a shared focus on where to expend scarce resources, time and money. Identify and facilitate the resolution of design decisions and issues through the business case, solution design and delivery phases, identifying common elements to be delivered as patterns or common solution and working with the Architecture community to design these components. Support the testing, training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the centralised business and technology solutions for Archiving. Understand and adhere to Enterprise methodologies, processes and standards. Identify stakeholders, developing and maintaining collaborative working relations, with key stakeholders receiving the relevant information and communications effectively and efficiently. Balance competing priorities between UNITE initiative and the Archiving Stream’s delivery, fit-for-purpose solutioning and sustainability. Advocate the necessity of adherence to the Group Records Management policy within an Archiving solution. Share knowledge and learning with the project teams and broader Westpac community as required. Facilitate and co-ordinate internal project processes with project team members. What do I need? Seasoned with an extended track record in successfully delivering medium/large projects within agreed time, cost and quality boundaries. Proven experience in liaising with multiple and diverse stakeholders across different business divisions. 5+ years experience within projects / programs. Experience working in a large and complex organisation in the financial services industry. Highly developed analytical skills. Strong problem-solving skills.
