They are looking for a Senior Business Central Functional Consultant to take on a key leadership role within their Business Central Practice.About the Role As the Business Central Practice Manager , you will take on a dual role: leading the Business Central practice while continuing to contribute as a senior hands-on consultant. You will be responsible for managing a small team of consultants, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and maintaining client satisfaction. This leadership role will see you guiding projects from inception through to completion, ensuring best practices and methodologies are followed across all Business Central engagements.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is manadatory therefore your application must include an application letter specifically outlining your experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Key Responsibilities Practice Management Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Business Central consultants, fostering a collaborative and continuous learning environment. Strategic Planning: Define and execute the strategic direction of the Business Central practice, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources for projects, ensuring the right skills and experience are applied to each client engagement. Process Improvement: Establish and continuously improve internal processes, frameworks, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines for Business Central implementations. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring successful project delivery, and identifying new opportunities for growth and engagement within existing accounts. Pre-sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities, including scoping, proposal creation, solution presentations, and demonstrations. Consulting Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and business objectives. Customization & Optimization: Tailor Business Central to suit the unique needs of each client, working with the technical team to design and deploy effective customizations. Solution Design & Documentation: Design comprehensive functional solutions and ensure all documentation is up to date, including functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and user guides. Client Training & Support: Provide training sessions and post-implementation support to ensure clients can fully leverage Business Central and continue to use the system effectively after go-live. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert, guiding junior and mid-level consultants in their day-to-day work and contributing to the team's knowledge base. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with new features, best practices, and updates within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. Key Requirements Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a functional consulting role. Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a consulting environment, ideally managing a practice or a team of consultants. Experience in managing multiple concurrent Business Central projects and resources, ensuring successful and timely delivery. Strong experience in the functional areas of Business Central including financials, supply chain management, inventory, manufacturing, and reporting. Skills & Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities and modules. Ability to lead a team while being hands-on with client projects, ensuring successful delivery. Experience in change management, project delivery methodology, and client engagement strategies. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, solution optimization, and client satisfaction. Strong understanding of integration points with other Microsoft and third-party systems. Education & Certifications: Relevant tertiary qualification (Business, IT, or similar). Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (or equivalent). Any leadership, management, or project management certifications are a plus (e.g., PMP, Agile, SCRUM). Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
