We are looking to appoint a permanent Senior Business Development Manager role into the NSW & ACT markets to support the real estate sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for building and developing our existing client base with both employers and members directly, as well as leveraging our relationships with the Real Estate Institute of NSW and the Real Estate Institute of ACT. The position includes travel covering metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW and the ACT, with occasional interstate travel for business development and attendance at conferences. Reporting to the Group Executive - Marketing & Growth, you will be based in Sydney and will help us continue to grow in the NSW and ACT markets. Key areas of responsibility include: Leadership, coaching and development of one direct report, our Business Superannuation Consultant NSW/ACT Developing new business relationships with national agency networks and NSW/ACT-based agency networks and independent agencies Building on existing member and employer relationships Building on our existing relationship with the Real Estate Institutes of NSW and ACT Growing our membership and employer base Growing our funds under management Working with both employers and members directly Skills and Experience RG146 compliant Minimum 10 years' experience in the financial services industry or 10 years in the real estate industry Demonstrated experience in B2B business development and relationship management Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective business relationships Excellent diary management skills Ability to work as a state team and as part of a national team Excellent communication and presentation skills Proven experience in opportunity lead generation through to conversion Tertiary qualification in a science, economics or business-related discipline Remuneration will be paid commensurate with skills and experience. Current drivers' licence & own vehicle required. Vehicle running costs will be reimbursed. Laptop, iPad, mobile and travel expenses provided.
