Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Partner to join our newly formed People & Capability team. As a trusted and solutions focused strategic advisor you will partner with business leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment between business objectives and people strategies. You will provide expert guidance on organisational development, employee relations, workforce planning, and change management. As a valued member of the People Team, you will be empowered to play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture, driving business success through effective and pragmatic people-centric solutions. Key Responsibilities against our Organisational Pillars Brand & Reputation: Embrace and ambassador 'The Zone Way' values from day one Contribute to the people strategy roadmap focused on employee engagement, digital enhancement, employer brand and EVP Build and maintain relationships with external providers, gateway programs and industry government bodies Attend industry and networking events to enhance our presence across advanced manufacturing, design, technology, engineering, gender and diversity pathways Collaborate with business functions to ensure our goal of achieving 'The Summit Experience' is at the heart of all people and organisational strategies Help review and develop best practice P&C policies and procedures that meet business needs and regulatory requirements Collaborate with leadership to drive employee engagement, performance management, and professional development initiatives Effectively coach leaders to manage dispute resolution, investigations, and disciplinary procedures, ensuring effective and timely resolution of issues Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support organisational goals. Act as a coach and mentor within the P&C team and across the broader business Lead people projects and initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee experience Manufacturing Controls: Help review and develop a modern workforce planning framework to ensure remuneration and pay scales align with award, budget and resourcing requirements Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies Stay abreast and inform business of current legislative changes Regularly review and audit workforce planning activities to help deliver labour compliance forecasting to budget Support change management initiatives by guiding leaders through organisational changes and transformations Digital Core: Maximise organisational digital literacy and processes to streamline compliance management, training, and reporting across existing HR and payroll tools Analyse key HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related disciplines.
