Support the team lead in implementing strategic initiatives and mentor team members. Manage a portfolio & pipeline of WA business customers, focusing on acquiring new customers and building lasting relationships. Permanent full-time role based in Murdoch. The Opportunity As a Senior Business Sales Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our customer base, engaging with small to medium businesses across various sectors, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact—whether it’s mentoring junior team members, leading strategic initiatives, or negotiating high-value contracts. Key Responsibilities will include: Build and manage pipeline of business customers to achieve sales targets. Engage with small to medium business customers in various sectors and develop plans to achieve budgeted customer growth. Assist the large business team and support the team lead in strategic initiatives. Mentor team members and cover for the team lead during absences. Plan, prospect, and execute supply agreements to meet sales targets. Build and manage a pipeline of prospects and maintain long-term customer relationships. Demonstrate strategic planning, risk management, pricing decisions, contract negotiation, market awareness, and stakeholder management. Ensure all customer communications are recorded in a centralized system. About You: A passion for sales, with a history of exceeding sales acquisition goals in a phone-based role. 2+ years of demonstrated sales success, preferably in B2B. Experience with structured sales processes for negotiations and contract renewals. Relevant industry experience, preferably in energy or related utilities/telco/insurance industries. Excellent communication skills.
