The Clinical Measurements Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist (Echosonographer) to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity Deliver, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, high level independent evidenced based echocardiography and cardiac services to relevant stakeholders/customers across the Mackay Hospital and Health Service in accordance with contemporary clinical practice standards. About the Team The Clinical Measurement Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital performs a range of clinical investigations including cardiac, respiratory and neuro-diagnostic services. The Cardiac diagnostics team has a complement of five staff cardiologists and seven cardiac scientists who deliver electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography (Echo), cardiac catheter lab (Cath-lab) and device management services that include Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography; Contrast Enhanced Echocardiography; Exercise Stress Echocardiography and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography; Exercise Stress ECG's; Ambulatory ECG's and Blood Pressure monitors; Pacemaker management; Cath-lab Physiologic monitoring; and assisting in imaging modalities (IVUS & OCT).
