Role details The Clinical Measurements Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist (Echosonographer) to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity Deliver, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, high-level independent evidenced-based echocardiography and cardiac services to relevant stakeholders/customers across the Mackay Hospital and Health Service in accordance with contemporary clinical practice standards. About The Team The Clinical Measurement Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital performs a range of clinical investigations including cardiac, respiratory, and neuro-diagnostic services. The Cardiac diagnostics team has a complement of five staff cardiologists and seven cardiac scientists who deliver electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography (Echo), cardiac catheter lab (Cath-lab), and device management services that include: Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography; Contrast Enhanced Echocardiography; Exercise Stress Echocardiography; Exercise Stress ECG's; Ambulatory ECG's and Blood Pressure monitors; Pacemaker management; and Cath-lab Physiologic monitoring.
