We are proudly part of Japan Post — Toll Group is looking for an experienced and skilled NSW Senior Case Manager, Workers Compensation for this 2 year fixed term contract, to lead the management, direction, and performance of the workers compensation function for all Toll Group divisions in the state. As part of a team of five, this role involves developing and managing state-based workers compensation activities, ensuring effective injury management strategies, and mitigating the impact of workplace injuries. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outstanding return-to-work outcomes, reduce premium and claims costs, and align with Toll’s Safety Obsessed strategy. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of NSW workers compensation claims. Collaborate with the Regional Manager Workers Compensation and Injury Management to improve key performance indicators in Workers Compensation and Injury Management. Develop, implement, and maintain the state-based Accredited Return to Work and Injury Management Programs and procedures. Provide leadership and support across the region to reduce premium and claims costs, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve better return-to-work outcomes. Ensure compliance with state legislation, including relevant Acts, Regulations, and Policy. Guide business units and sites on workers compensation claims, strategies, and financial implications. Implement initiatives that support Toll’s Safety Obsessed strategy. Essential Qualifications and Experience: 7+ years of experience in a NSW workers compensation role. Preferred experience with a NSW self-insurer. Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at various levels. Experience in managing complex legal matters and building relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders. Ability to think strategically and translate plans into actionable programs. Experience working in large, complex organizations. Key Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and people management skills. Financial and commercial acumen. Process improvement and project management expertise. Qualifications: Relevant experience in self-insurance and the workers compensation industry.
