Job Description

Due to business growth, we are looking to employ a Senior Engineering Manager. This position will be located in our Wagga Wagga office. We are looking for a specific type and quality of engineer, who has the experience and the capabilities to manage projects and oversee junior engineers without supervision. This person will be an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer, with at least 10 years industry experience. They will be someone who has design experience, who is wanting to move from purely designing to a higher level of overseeing projects and checking the work of other Engineers prior to issue. We envisage that the role will be approximately 50% design work, and 50% project management / overseeing the work of others. We are looking for someone who will be committed to a regional location and lifestyle, in a large regional city. We carry out design consultation for residential, commercial and industrial developments, subdivisions and land development. Minimum Requirements: Degree Qualified 10+ years Australian industry experience In depth knowledge of Australian Standards A member of Engineers Australia A desire to move from pure design work to design and project management A desire to permanently relocate to a regional area The ability to check the work of others and review design drawings prior to document issue Excellent interpersonal skills as this role will involve client interaction Experience with: SpaceGass AutoCad 12d Drains The Inducta suite of products TEDDS Microstran #J-18808-Ljbffr
