Base pay range A$135,000.00/yr - A$165,000.00/yr Providing the best talent to the Solar & Energy Storage sectors My client is a leading player within the Renewable Energy Sector supplying state of the art Energy Storage technology and EPC solutions to the utility sector internationally. Due to significant demand they are seeking a Commissioning Engineer who will play a key role in their APAC business working on large scale flagship Battery Energy Storage Systems. Responsibilities Onsite Engineer for Commissioning and Acceptance Testing of Balance of Plant equipment including electrical systems such as, Switchgear, relay protection, metering, MV/LV transformers, and cables. Controls/communication networks: Switches, I/O devices, SCADA equipment and Auxiliary systems: Fire detection, HMI and UPS Develop and execute commissioning test plans, including resourcing, logistics, equipment, and scheduling Provide local/remote technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning as needed Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation Coordinate and liaise with site stakeholders (internal & external) Qualifications Relevant experience as an Electrical Commissioning Technician or Commissioning Engineer At least 5 years of professional experience in commissioning or performance testing for large-scale PV, storage, or other energy storage systems Knowledge and experience testing Transformers, and Balance of Plant equipment Australian Electrical Licence holder Comfortable in a high-paced environment and able to work in a solution-orientated culture Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Services for Renewable Energy and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
