12-month contract | Brisbane , Canberra or Sydney location | exciting national project THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Officer to work within a federal government agency, responsible for providing communication and marketing services across various project teams within the digital health space. In this role you will be responsible for developing clear, engaging, visually attractive and effective communications, in collaboration with stakeholders, and coordinating distribution through various Agency channels. You will ensure that the Agency's messages are consistent, accurate and aligned with its strategic objectives and stakeholder needs and will support the development and execution of end-to-end marketing and communication programs. You will have experience providing expert advice and support to multiple stakeholders and the ability to effectively prioritise and execute deliverables in a high-pressure environment, under limited direction. As part of this role you will implement communications plans, including setting tasks and priorities and managing workflow and timelines, following an account management approach and assist in developing communications plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments. You will also develop materials for programs that are of a high standard and are consistent with a customer focused culture and align with brand strategy, guidelines and processes. Working in partnership with the wider project pool of resources, you will develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. This is a contract opportunity for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for further extensions, and can be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney, with great flexible hybrid working options.
