Senior Coordinator, Advancement (Leadership Annual Giving) Apply Locations: St Lucia Campus Time Type: Full time Posted on: Posted 20 Days Ago Job Requisition ID: R-48397 About This Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Coordinator, Advancement (Leadership Annual Giving) based within the Global and Institutional Philanthropy team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a Leadership Annual Giving (LAG) program to grow the number of donors who give $1,000 to $10,000 annually. You will partner with faculties and institutes, and key stakeholders to gather data, maintain relationships with a large group of donors through targeted cultivation strategies, and monitor and evaluate the program to ensure its success. In addition to analytical skills, you will require creative thinking and the ability to build relationships with new donors. Under the supervision of, and with guidance from the Senior Manager and Head of Advancement (Student Experience), you will implement, coordinate, and review the emerging LAG program at UQ. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a pipeline of 300+ Leadership Annual Giving (LAG) donors ($1K-$10K annually), cultivating and stewarding relationships. Develop innovative outreach strategies to engage a high volume of donors and identify major gift potential ($50K+) for referral. Work with the Annual Giving and Prospect Development teams to implement lead tracking, reporting, and CRM transition. Strengthen cross-departmental relationships, promote a university-wide philanthropic culture, and adhere to best practices. Meet fundraising KPIs, analyze campaign data, support new donor-funded projects, and represent UQ at events. About You Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to prepare complex documentation, and communicate with diverse groups within and external to the University. Demonstrated experience in developing networks, building relationships, and operationalizing partnerships. Organizational and administrative skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and establish priorities, with a commitment to quality outcomes. Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and as a team member. Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong preference for experience with software and CRMs such as Raiser’s Edge, Graduway, and/or Salesforce. A good understanding and awareness of the operational environment within and outside UQ and current issues in Australian and international higher education.
