Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI) This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $100,554 - $109,496 (HEW 7), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. Lead ITaLI's communication and engagement strategy, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of professional development events, campaigns, and reports, fostering a collaborative and positive environment. Demonstrate your exceptional project management and organizational skills by overseeing project plans, budgets, and evaluation mechanisms, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of professional development activities. Based at our St Lucia campus About This Opportunity As the Senior Coordinator, Professional Development & Engagement, you will lead the development and implementation of ITaLI's digital communication strategy. This role encompasses digital content production and provides high-level support for all communication and engagement activities within the Institute. Key responsibilities will include: Strategic Communication & Engagement: Lead the development and delivery of the internal communication and engagement plan for academic staff professional development. Event Management & Delivery: Plan, promote, and deliver a range of professional development events, including staff development courses, workshops, and awards ceremonies. Prepare programs, invitations, PowerPoint presentations, conference materials and other communication documents. Reporting & Evaluation: Collate, develop, and distribute reports to evaluate the success of professional development events and meet internal reporting requirements. Content Management & Administration: Manage ITaLI's intranet, ensure consistent branding and documentation, and contribute to the Institute's web presence. About You Essential: Relevant degree with at least four years of experience in communication or marketing. Proven ability to develop and implement communication plans and produce high-quality written content for diverse audiences. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, website editing, and experience with online databases and survey tools. (Drupal, Oracle RightNow, Vision6 or equivalent) Desirable: Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite and the University’s (or equivalent) SharePoint intranet skills would be highly regarded. You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
