Job Description - Senior Cost Administrator (262501) UGL Fuels & Energy are seeking a Senior Cost Administrator to join our site-based team at the APLNG gas plant on Curtis Island. Access is by ferry departing from Fisherman’s Landing, approximately 25-minute drive from Gladstone, Central Qld. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, offering career progression! As a key member of our team, you will provide essential financial administration support & analysis. This role is central to achieving the organisation’s financial objectives through meticulous financial management and strategic partnerships. Drawing on your leadership skills you will have two direct reports and mentor the site-based team, setting them up for success, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. About the role: Provide expert financial advice to operation leaders that influence decisions for improving the commercial outcomes. Maintain effective communication across departments, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and practices. Process cost control, invoicing, and debtor recovery activities for site ensuring compliance with company terms and other policies. Review and advise on forecast and actual financial reports. Action end of month processes and financial reporting within required deadlines and to required levels of accuracy for the contract. Maintain the data integrity of the contract financial data in SAP. About you: Bachelor degree in commerce or accounting and min 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in broad financial roles. Previous experience working on heavy industrial site preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, PowerBI would be a bonus. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner. Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines.
