Job Description

Senior Customer Service and Office Administration Houspect has been operating in Western Australia for 35 years, providing building inspection services via qualified building inspectors. Our detailed property inspection reports, provided to Australian standards, are in a format, which is easy to read and understand. Our business operates across Western Australia and continues to grow.About the Role We pride ourselves on our customer service. Through our customer service team, located in our Balcatta office, we are able to support our customers and our building inspectors by having a service team that is readily available to help with enquiries, bookings, report status, special needs and general questions. Duties Key duties associated with the role include: Responding to client enquiries Providing inspection quotes using in-house systems Booking building inspections Assisting in the finalisation and production of building inspection reports submitted by our Building Inspectors General office administration Required Skills Happy, engaging, dependable team player who takes ownership of their role and responsibilities and will contribute positively to our office environment Excellent communication skills (both written, verbal and especially phone) An ability to empathise and engage with clients who are purchasing or building their dream home and require reassurance during the process Exceptional call management and call interaction skills. Not afraid to accept inbound phone enquiries as business opportunities The ability to communicate effectively with our clients Excellent, organised, efficient and reliable administrative skills High degree of accuracy with the ability to proofread client reports Computer literacy with normal office software. An ability to commit and contribute to the attainment of our business goals and objectives Ideal Experience Experience in working autonomously but within a highly productive team in a small company Experienced in managing telephone inquiries Demonstrated above average administrative skills gained through a busy office environment Experience in IT systems and the MS Office suite. Exposure to the construction and or real estate industry terms/jargon would be a valuable but not essential. Houspect will provide further and ongoing training for successful applicants.
