Overview We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer with a strong background in designing and implementing data migration solutions for Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust ETL pipelines, utilising tools such as KingswaySoft and Data Flows, and ensuring high data quality through effective cleansing, deduplication, and validation processes. This role supports the migration of data from legacy systems into Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dataverse, and external document repositories. Key Responsibilities ETL Development & Implementation Develop, test, and deploy ETL processes to facilitate the migration of data from legacy systems into Dynamics 365 and Dataverse. Utilise tools such as KingswaySoft and Data Flows to build and optimise data migration pipelines. Create and maintain custom scripts and routines to support complex data transformation and mapping requirements. Data Quality & Transformation Implement robust data cleansing and deduplication procedures to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process. Develop and document data transformation rules and mapping strategies to accurately migrate standard Dynamics 365 data and external documents. Collaboration & Technical Documentation Work closely with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to understand migration requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Produce clear technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, mapping documents, and migration runbooks. Assist in the testing and validation of migrated data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Project Support & Continuous Improvement Provide ongoing support during migration projects, troubleshooting issues and refining migration processes as necessary. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data migration and integration. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications Essential Qualifications & Experience Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing data migration solutions, preferably within a Dynamics 365 environment. Proficiency in using ETL tools such as KingswaySoft, Data Flows, or similar technologies. Strong technical skills in data transformation, cleansing, deduplication, and validation. Experience working with data sources from legacy systems and integrating with Microsoft Dataverse and external document repositories. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce detailed technical documentation. Familiarity with scripting languages and database technologies (e.g., SQL) to support custom data migration requirements.
