They are a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of leveraging data to drive business success.Based in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact by shaping the company’s data infrastructure from the ground up.They are based in Sydney CBD and work with a hybrid working set up. About the Role They are seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage their data infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Data, you will lead the development of a robust and scalable data platform to enable actionable insights and data-driven decision-making. Working closely with finance leadership and technical teams, this is a hands-on, strategic role that combines technical expertise with business collaboration. Salary & Benefits $180,000 + super. Flexible working arrangements. 2-3 days remote, 2-3 in office. Key Responsibilities Data warehouse build and set up. Data Pipeline Development. Cloud Integration. Data Optimization. Programming & Data Modeling. Skills and Experience Strong experience in setting up and managing Data warehouse infrastructures (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.). Advanced knowledge of Snowflake security, performance tuning, and optimization. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and tools like Azure Data Factory. Proficiency in Python or Java for data automation and processing. In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling and analytics-ready data design. 5+ years in data engineering or a similar role.
