Senior Data Scientist & Data Project Lead Melbourne | 6-Month Contract | 2 Days On-Site We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist & Data Project Lead to drive data science and machine learning initiatives while leading data-driven projects . This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure , with strong skills in Python, SQL, ML, and AWS SageMaker .Key Responsibilities: Lead data science projects from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and optimize machine learning models using AWS SageMaker and Azure ML . Utilize Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and ETL processes. Design and implement scalable data solutions in AWS and Azure cloud environments . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production systems. Ensure data governance, quality, and security across platforms. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists . Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist with data project leadership . Strong expertise in AWS and Azure for data science and machine learning. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks . Experience with AWS SageMaker for ML model development and deployment. Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions .
