To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Senior Data Strategist to join our team, focusing on CRM and loyalty strategies. Sound like you? Read on. The transformation you will experience As a Senior Data Strategist at Digitas Australia, you will play a pivotal role in translating data insights into actionable strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, client service, and creative, to ensure that we deliver data-driven solutions that enhance customer engagement, refine lifetime value, and drive revenue growth. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to design and deliver effective customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategies while ensuring that all marketing activities are aligned with Digitas' objectives and client needs. Your scope will include: Assessing marketing campaigns' performance across CRM and loyalty channels, helping evaluate the effectiveness of such campaigns. Use data insights to shape CRM strategies, enhancing customer retention and engagement. Evaluate customer behaviour, segment data, and guide teams on the most effective messaging, journey and content strategies. Collaborate with cross-channel teams to develop and refine customer segments and personas using behavioural, demographic, and predictive insights to drive targeted engagement, ensuring data quality, integration, and governance across multiple touchpoints. Oversee and refine the loyalty program to ensure it aligns with client objectives and drives deeper customer engagement. Use customer insights to improve loyalty program performance and encourage repeat business, increasing lifetime value. Collaborate with strategy teams to develop and oversee measurement framework of CRM and lifecycle programs. Leverage data-driven insights and strategy to enhance customer journeys, improve conversion rates, and build long-term customer loyalty. Ensure data is integrated seamlessly across all online and offline customer touchpoints. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a unified, customer-centric experience that supports omnichannel marketing strategies. Be a clear communicator, presenting data insights to senior leadership and clients in a compelling and actionable way. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations that inform marketing and CRM initiatives. Influence marketing experiments, such as A/B testing of customer journeys, landing pages, messaging and content optimization, to continually refine marketing strategies and improve customer engagement metrics. Assess business objectives, define KPIs and OKRs, and align data strategies with broader marketing goals. Ensure data initiatives are consistently delivering value to the business. Ensure that all data and insights shared with stakeholders are of the highest quality. Establish a framework for measuring success, ensuring consistency and reliability in all data-driven decision-making. What type of person will be successful in this role? Preferably 5 years in a data analytics or data strategy type of roles, with at least 2 years focused specifically on marketing measurement and CRM performance. Strong knowledge in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Experience working with CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce is essential. Familiarity with advanced Excel functions and data visualisation tools is also important. Deep knowledge of digital marketing performance, CRM optimisation, and loyalty program strategies. A keen interest in web analytics and customer segmentation to enhance marketing effectiveness is highly desirable. A solution-oriented mindset with the aptitude to assess intricate data, uncover insights, and develop actionable strategies for marketing and CRM optimisation. Excellent written and verbal communication credentials, with the aptitude to present data insights in a clear, actionable, and business-relevant way. Expertise in conducting marketing experiments (such as A/B testing, multivariate, CRM sequencing, etc.) to improve campaign effectiveness and customer engagement. Got what it takes?
