As a Senior Qualitative Strategist, you’ll lead qualitative and mixed-method projects from initial proposal through to final presentation—from big meaty projects to fast-tracked projects centered around ad hoc bites. You will craft meaning from consumer insights – brand strategy, new product development, innovation, shopper experience, in-store experience, package design, product testing and communications. We’re looking for qualities that love the variety and pace of agency life but crave genuine work-life balance, autonomy, room to grow and a culture of collaboration. As an experienced and hands-on qualitative strategist/researcher, you’ll be involved in all elements of the research process, from proposal writing, running fieldwork and workshop facilitation to insight generation, reporting, managing sparky juniors and delivering highly impactful client presentations. The essentials Prior qualitative experience within an agency environment – strategy/research/insights Confidence in managing projects from pitch to delivery Top-notch communication, storytelling, copywriting, and presentation skills A problem solver, you can think analytically and creatively An inherent curiosity and desire to uncover trends, patterns and future opportunities Qualitative methodological experience – in-depth interviews, focus groups, workshops, shop-a-longs, ethnography, shopper safaris What will set you apart is your innate curiosity and ability to cut through the jargon and provide simple solutions and recommendations that drive sustainable growth and help FMCG clients stay ahead of the curve.
