You will lead the development and implementation of the blueprint for Tasmanian virtual learning services, providing leadership and support to the implementation of strategic objectives within existing virtual learning services. Additionally, you will operationally coordinate policy, process, governance, communications, and reporting on outcomes associated with virtual learning services. This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well, and learning. The child is at the centre of everything we do. Duties Manage the strategic development and tactical changes for virtual learning services as part of a statewide support model. Lead the development and implementation of the blueprint for Tasmanian virtual learning services, providing leadership and support to the implementation of strategic objectives within existing virtual learning services. Operationally coordinate policy, process, governance, communications, and reporting on outcomes associated with virtual learning services. Period of Appointment ASAP for 3 years. Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight. Minimum Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment). In accordance with section 106 (a) and (b) of the Education Act 2016, all Principals must be a registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
