About the role: Identify and secure opportunities for apprentices, trainees, cadets, First Nations people, and Priority Jobseekers for direct hire, ensuring subcontractor compliance. Establish and manage relationships with local jobseekers in collaboration with our client to promote workforce development and support project goals. Monitor progress and drive outcomes against key targets like Priority Jobseekers, Major Project Skills Guarantee, Aboriginal Employment Target, and Building Equality Policy. Coordinate and support training, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-employment training to employment while promoting diversity and inclusion. Facilitate key relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including supporting educational community programs and workforce development initiatives. The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education/Training, or related area preferred. Understanding of Registered Training Organisation requirements. Experience in a similar role within Civil Engineering or Construction preferred. Demonstrated experience developing networks with job networks and community groups and managing client relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
