Senior Engineering Consultant - Operations Preparations Manager PEAK Wind is a global company headquartered in Denmark, which provides technical and commercial advisory based on our teams' in-depth experience within wind farm operations and asset management. PEAK Wind Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 79 677 034 150) is searching for a Senior Engineering Consultant - Operations Preparations Manager. Based in Melbourne, Australia, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating the engineering operations preparations on one or multiple clients' offshore wind farms. You will lead the operations preparations team including commercial specialists, operations and maintenance engineers, and operation expenditure specialists. Your responsibilities will include: Plan, implement, and monitor Operations and Maintenance (O&M ) programs for large scale renewable infrastructure projects such as offshore wind farms from early development phase through to completion of construction of the wind farm; Drive the maturation of a utility-scale offshore wind project for all O&M scope workstreams in collaboration with relevant stakeholders; Coordinate observation and conformity of plans with engineering, regulation, and safety standards; Management of O&M interfaces and requirements with EPC packages (WTG, BoP, SCADA), including design review, serviceability and safety perspective, with support from O&M Engineers and the HSE Manager; Budget operating expenditures, wind farm availability estimates & O&M related capital expenditure and development expenditure estimates; Create new business opportunities for PEAK Wind in Australia in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders; Prepare and manage procurement activities for O&M related contracts; Design, develop and optimize O&M strategy to fit project-specific constraints and opportunities, including establishment of budgets and schedules; Preparation and development of relevant O&M-related auction documentation; Development of logistical solutions for offshore projects, including potential tendering processes for service vessels and call-off agreements; Conduct port assessments and selection of relevant O&M ports; Development of project operator model and O&M procurement quilt; Manage local stakeholders and drive O&M supply chain development activities; Develop and define specifications and requirements for O&M facilities and harbor (for offshore projects); Negotiate needed land lease/procurement and coordinate design and construction of facilities; Facilitate EPC hand-over processes to asset operators, including development of transfer plans. Skills and Experience required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; Relevant master's degree, for example in energy systems; A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in engineering management and consulting, ideally in wind farm projects or similar. #J-18808-Ljbffr
