We are currently seeking a Senior Field Engineer (Mechanical) to join the Fuels & Energy East Team. Based in our Brisbane Office and reporting to the Maintenance Lead - East, this role is responsible for key functions of asset condition assessment, development of rectification plans, development of modification and renewals project scopes, and the provision of technical support for execution team members in the Fuels, Refining, and Engineering Group. About the Role Review & plan maintenance works in accordance with site management plans or as guided by the Maintenance Lead Provide a focal point for all technical based queries for subcontractors and suppliers, and provide any engineering advice as required Lead and participate in the delivery of all Tank Turnaround and Off Stream inspections, ensuring compliance to process, as well as efficient delivery Track performance of maintenance key metrics and take action to drive continuous improvement in these metrics Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in the delivery process Ensure compliance with all UGL HSSE policies and procedures as well as any relevant legislative requirements About You Relevant Engineering Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical discipline Minimum 5 years industry experience in maintenance and/or project implementation and commissioning for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industries Sound quality systems knowledge Demonstrated knowledge and exposure to mechanical equipment including pumps, piping, valves, and hydrocarbon storage tanks Experience in implementing maintenance and inspection programs across multiple sites, and the use of CMMS Highly developed interpersonal, relationship management and conflict resolution skills, supporting your ability to effectively liaise, consult and influence a wide range of stakeholders Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels internally and externally Methodical and demonstrated ability to work independently, with discretion, to organise and prioritise demands, and handle complex tasks simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment What we offer Diverse opportunities to grow, back yourself and achieve The chance to join a 6,000+ strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world's leading international contractors Pathways for you to succeed and the space for you to carve your own journey A culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologies What makes you right for UGL Genuine concern for safety Ability to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplace Capacity to flourish in a high-performance environment An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm A belief that success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to play About Us UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
