Vacancy Name Senior Finance Manager Vacancy No VN101 Description New Forests seeks a qualified candidate for the newly created position of Senior Finance Manager. As an important member of a small Finance team, you will be primarily working in the Corporate Finance team with a focus on team management, financial reporting and shareholder reporting. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: People management of a great team of accountants Ensuring timeliness and quality delivery of quarterly shareholder reporting and analysis Overseeing and managing the change process of external auditors and global tax advisors with the Group Financial Controller Assisting in the preparation and review of reporting as required including monthly financial results Evaluating and implementing budgeting and forecasting tools Managing the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process Overseeing delivery of month-end and quarter-end tasks of the current team Monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial services licenses in Australia, Singapore and US Assisting with projects within finance and across the business Evaluating, improving and automating reporting processes Contributing to the Data Warehouse project and other system implementation projects Qualifications, Experience and Strengths We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, experience, and strengths: Demonstrated experience working at a senior level and leading a finance team Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Accounting/Business or Finance Qualified CA or CPA (ideally with public practice experience) Private equity or real assets experience is advantageous Thorough understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Taxation and experience with global businesses preferred Demonstration of process improvement/re-engineering experience to improve efficiency and effectiveness Superior attention to detail A team player, with strong stakeholder management skills Strength to delegate where required and leverage the skills of the team Planning mindset complimented by organization, prioritisation and documentation skills Project Management experience Interest in/knowledge of sustainability and impact investing, well regarded Able to demonstrate core finance team capabilities: Client Focus, Cultivates Innovation, Collaborates How to Apply We pride ourselves on having a supportive New Forests culture that is inclusive to all and we would love to learn how you can bring your unique skills and experience to our business.
