Job Description

Senior Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable Temporary full-time opportunity to manage operational functions associated with revenue, from identification to recovery. In addition, the incumbent will play a key role supporting revenue maximisation and compliance strategies for Metro North Hospital and Health Service. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Effectively manage accounts receivable operational functions and the positions responsible for these functions for the HHS. Oversee and review invoicing processes and reconciliations as required. Ensure that revenue-related end of month reporting, journals, accruals and reconciliations are accurately completed, ensuring that, where applicable, revenue is devolved in a timely and accurate manner. Provide expert guidance on legislative frameworks, financial management practices, policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practice in relation to Hospital revenue. Coordinate the Annual Financial Statements (receivables and general debtors) through detailed analysis, commentary and integrated reporting.
