Job Description
About Our Client Our client is a global FMCG business based in Melbourne's CBD. Due to organic growth and growth through acquisition, our client is experiencing a high level of growth. Job Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to: Assist with the production of the full and half yearly statutory accounts Month end activities Compile monthly reconciliations of lease related balances for the balance sheet. Critically analyse and provide commentary on movement in leases (P&L) against actuals and budget/forecast. Prepare the cash flow disclosure requirements for leases. Fixed Assets: Report on depreciation, additions, transfers and CAPEX Prepare and manage year-end reporting and audit requirements including financial statement preparation for leases disclosures (consolidated group and joint ventures), gathering documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries related to leases. Prepare MEC (multiple entry consolidated) group IFRS16 lease disclosures and addressing any Tax inquiries related to leases. Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in lease accounting. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be ideally/have: CA/CPA Qualified Experience in a similar role Available at short notice SAP/TM1 Ideal but not necessary Understanding of IFRS16 and application of the standard Excellent communication skills + presentation skills What's on Offer Competitive remuneration levels ASAP start Opportunity for progression Hybrid working arrangement #J-18808-Ljbffr
