Base pay range A$55.00/hr - A$60.00/hr Business Lead at Reo Group Role Highlights: This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a short-term contract with a global and industry-leading organization. In this role, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with the leadership team and actively contribute to key decision-making processes. Role Overview In this position, you will be responsible for managing corporate expenses, overseeing joint ventures (JVs) and projects, and assisting with the preparation and completion of month-end and year-end financial accounts. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of group reporting packs, budgets, statutory accounts, and provide support for day-to-day transactions. A key aspect of the role will involve building strong working relationships and collaborating effectively with colleagues across the broader finance team and various other functions within the organization. Responsibilities Support the month-end and year-end closing processes Conduct monthly balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies promptly Prepare accounting entries for joint ventures, partnerships, and other projects Compile monthly group reporting packages Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Maintain the accounting and tax fixed asset register Prepare annual statutory accounts Provide support for ad hoc reporting requirements Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Identify opportunities for process improvements and take initiative to implement solutions Candidate Profile Experience with SAP and SAP BI In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, collaborative team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is a must.
